In the mid-19th century, floristry arrived in the Netherlands. It began with selling floral arrangements to serve as decorations. Later, it included wholesale orders of bulk flowers. It also sold supplies for the care and treatment of delicate blooms. Floral shops offered fresh flowers and arrangements, both pre- and custom-made.
Floristry involves raising and caring for flowers. It also includes the process of picking and setting them into refined arrangements. Soon, this led to the business of selling them to local customers.
Floristry is creating a selection of blooms and plants into a stunning arrangement. Then, florists put them in vases, bowls, baskets, and pots. Of course, they base this all on every customer's tastes and needs. This is why most people consider it "floral design" or "floral arts".
Since the late 19th century, schools have approved floristry as a formal course. Colleges opened up across Dutch islands with programs in floristry. Florist schools also showed up in Europe. They later crossed over to the U.S., giving birth to the florist industry. Soon enough, floral shops began making frequent and amazing developments to their practices.
As a result, floristry rose up in the market across America and around the world. To keep up, most flower shops deliver straight to the customer or their receiver. They also offer the option of placing orders online for convenience.
Today, floristry has grown into an essential part of people's lives. Indeed, flowers have become vital in the decoration and theme of different events. Many associations have come up as sources of knowledge for the floral industry.

Whitehouse is an unincorporated community located within Readington Township in Hunterdon County, New Jersey, United States. The community lies along the former Jersey Turnpike (now US-22), just west of Mechanicsville. In 1722, Abraham Van Horne purchased 490 acres (2.0 km2) in Readington along the Rockaway Creek. There, he built a grist mill and saw mill. Around 1750, he built a white plastered wall tavern on the creek where the Jersey Turnpike crossed (this is now the corner of Washington Street and U.S. Route 22). The tavern began to be referred to as the "White House" by travellers. The village, which sprang up to the east of the tavern also carried this name. Stones from the original tavern can be seen along the retaining wall of the Daughters of the American Revolution cemetery, where the tavern once stood. The community of White House stretched along the Jersey Turnpike (now Route 22 and Old Route 28), which was the main street. The settlement included taverns, stores, grist mills, an academy, a Dutch Reformed Church and numerous houses with coordinates at 40° 37′ 6″ N, 74° 44′ 40″ W (40.618333, -74.744444)
